Paris Peace Forum

We were honored to participate in this year’s Paris Peace Forum as part of the Scale-Up Program for the second year in a row, joining global leaders and local changemakers shaping pathways toward peace and shared prosperity.

Our Executive Director, Ilaha Omar took the stage to share how Afghan-led livelihood programs are laying the foundation for a self-sufficient Afghanistan—where communities can thrive through their own skills, resources, and dialogue.

Through cash-for-work initiatives—constructing irrigation canals, rehabilitating rural roads, and building deep water wells—we’re creating jobs, restoring vital infrastructure, and rebuilding trust at the community level.

A heartfelt thank you to the @Paris Peace Forum for providing a vital platform to elevate these conversations and for recognizing the power of locally led action.
